14 The City of Janesville, WI Selects Andrews Technology and UKG Ready for Automated Timekeeping

The City of Janesville,WI has signed with Andrews Technology to implement the UKG Ready time and attendance software. The partnership began when Janesville’s finance director met Amanda Hernandez, Andrews Technology’s director of sales, at the 2022 National GFOA conference. Initially, the city struggled with paper timesheets and lacked buy-in for automation from department heads and employees. However, extensive sales and product consulting, leveraging Andrews Technology’s public sector expertise, generated enthusiasm and support for the project. The city will automate timekeeping for over 500 employees using a combination of 10 Synel biometric time clocks, mobile apps, and PC entry, interfacing with Tyler’s New World payroll product.
